NQAC’s world class microbiological and food chemistry laboratories provide comprehensive testing services to all Nestlé factories, suppliers, and co-manufacturers in North America in order to ensure this quality assurance and product safety mission is continuously reached.

The Nestle Quality Assurance Center of Dublin, OH is responsible for providing specialized laboratory services ensuring Nestlé products are safe, satisfy all applicable regulatory requirements and meet the quality expectations of our customers and consumers.


The Nestlé Quality Assurance Center in Dublin, OH is seeking four Microbiology Interns for a three month, Full-time, paid summer internship in our Microbiology Laboratory.

Position responsibilities include sample preparation, sample weighing, and sample processing within one of our Microbiology Laboratories. Position responsibilities also may include sample preparation, lab sanitization, preparation of media, disposal of media, sanitation of containers, loading of autoclaves, supply inventory & retrieval, sample rotation, work documentation, and sample log-in. Other duties may be assigned as required.



·         At least 2 years of academic coursework completed (Junior or Senior Level) towards a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or closely related science

·         Knowledge of food safety and microbiological procedures

·         Strict adherence to aseptic technique, and laboratory safety procedures

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

·         Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as individually with minimal supervision
