As a Human Resources Business Partner at Nestlé, you will be accountable for providing Human Resources support to the Information Technology organization for North America, through effective organizational design and execution of Human Resources strategy across this part of the organization. You will oversee recruitment, employee development, employee relations, policy interpretation, compensation administration and legal compliance. As the Human Resources Business Partner you would lead change initiatives, coaching leadership to improve culture and be responsible for the complete Human Resource service/value chain for the group.
As you will support employees in other sites, travel up to 20% is anticipated.
This position can be located in Arlington, VA or Stamford, CT.
Driving the alignment and execution of key people strategies that attract, train and retain employees to support the organization’s business goals.
Ensuring an effective culture and working environment that is open, empowering, fair, and equitable through thorough analysis of Human Resources scorecard data, survey results, and other workforce management data.
Overseeing/providing flawless execution of all Human Resources initiatives while acting as a catalyst of change where appropriate.
Managing overall Human Resources service delivery to the business through the HR department while helping to shape the culture that facilitates and supports Nestlé’s goals and initiatives
Implementing training/development programs for the business unit when required
Utilizing the performance, talent, and succession planning management systems to help drive the achievement of company goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration, and talent development.
Providing counsel and guidance to Leadership on all people management and development and perform investigations when required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Degrees in Human Resources Management, Business, Organizational Communication, or Industrial Psychology preferred.
- HR certification through HRCI or SHRM preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources within a corporate or military environment.
- 1+ years of experience as a Manager or Business Partner in one or more HR function such as employee relations, performance management, recruitment, organizational design, etc.
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment law, compensation practices, investigations, and recruitment processes.
- Experience in change leadership/cultural development preferred.
- Experience delivering training is preferred.
- Experience working in a global, matrix environment preferred.
