Job Summary and Mission
This position contributes to Nestlé Coffee Partners’ success by growing gross revenue, net revenue and achieving share goals by rapidly expanding brand awareness through e commerce customer business building activities, development and execution of CPG customer-specific sales, category, and marketing plans with the assigned retail customer.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and crucial job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Planning and Execution: Developing strategic and operational plans for customer teams, leading execution, and measuring results
•Key contributor in developing and leading customer e-Comm strategies and execution that deliver customer-specific plans to drive sales and profit, sell new item initiatives
•Develops and implements CPG retailer-specific sales plans that increase product distribution and placement, and focus on pricing and promotional activity
•Prepares, communicates and educates customer teams on e-Commerce policies and practices within the organization
•Leads and advises resources efficiently and effectively and in line with internal controls by leading the customer to use funding in a cost efficient and productive way
•Works in conjunction with customer and Shopper Marketing team to craft and recommend consumer marketing programs to the customer
•Prepares for the negotiation process with team members, ensuring all are in alignment with the goals and expectations of the process with customer
Business Requirements: Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities
•Plans, directs, and communicates monthly, quarterly and annually business plans to internal and external stakeholders
•Delivers business and category reviews, including product and merchandising initiatives, performance measures, and ongoing tactical plans
•Builds positive relationships with assigned customers, up to the Director-level of their organization.
•Provides counsel to leaders on business challenges requiring gap planning and process improvement
Leadership & Team Empowerment: Leading the development of organizational capability and modeling how we work to build e-Commerce selling initiatives with customers while providing feedback/coaching to build effective teams.
•Supports the cross functional implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the company while also promoting a positive culture and teamwork to achieve business results
•Manages cross functional relationships required to ensure that agreements and initiatives are developed fully
•Leads discussions and pre-planning process in preparation for Joint Business Planning meetings
•Challenges and inspires team members to achieve e-Commerce business results.
•Provides coaching, direction, development and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partners, business and customer e-Commerce results
Summary of Experience
•5+ years’ experience developing and managing sales, profit and trade budgets, and negotiating annual sales plans focused on multiple brands
•5+ years’ experience with key account sales at the Director and buyer level
•Strong experience with cross-functional customer-facing team and/or broker management interaction
•Implementing and managing retailer-specific programs
•Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years of US military experience required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities
•Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
•Broad and practical understanding of key digital concepts in the areas of Digital Media, Websites, Social, Search, Marketing Analytics, CRM, e-Commerce.
