This role will support our International Premium Waters (IPW) division, a newly created category in Nestlé USA’s portfolio focused on elevating iconic brands including San Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, and Perrier. As part of the IPW Supply Chain team, you will gain valuable experience by contributing to key operations that ensure our internationally-produced waters efficiently and effectively reach shelves. The Supply Chain Business Solutions Specialist is responsible for influencing end-to-end planning functions by utilizing in-system and out-of-system tools to improve key results and sustainability of the different planning solutions. This role will provide key project management support with cross-functional stakeholders to lead current and future Supply and Distribution Planning initiatives. The Specialist will be responsible for model performance, new functionality, cross-functional support, & people technical development.
•Proactively analyze and improve the model performance of SAP APO Heuristic and Optimization in the Supply Planning and Distribution Requirements Planning space (new and existing cost model structures, network structure changes, sophisticated modeling of networks, simulations of business changes, and new planning system implementation)
•Influence design of end-to-end planning processes for new business requirements supporting Business, NBE, IS/IT stakeholders, implementation in the business functions including testing functionality and communication of changes.
•DSP Project management work.
•Identify, execute and complete initiatives to support NUSA Supply Chain Planning Goals, utilizing a positive relationship with Business functions, Advance Analytics, NBE, IS/IT to ensure data integrity and planning sustainability.
•Design, development and maintenance of planning tools that support more effective system planning sustainability.
Requirements and minimum education level:
•Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.
•7 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field.
•At least 3 years of experience performing and/or supporting Supply Planning functions.
•At least 2 years of active experience working with SAP APO PPDS and/or SAP APO SNP Planning solutions is required.
•Experience leading cross-functional teams to drive performance improvement and change management initiatives. At least one full project lifecycle completed.
•Experience with large enterprise business systems and ERP environments such as SAP and BW.
•Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data and build quantitative models of business problems.
•Advanced skill level in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Access
•Effective collaboration and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
•Effectively balance multiple priorities and adapt to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with dynamic demands.
•Availability for travel as needed
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and time-management abilities.
•Strong and problem-solving skills and creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to sophisticated problems.
