•You will supervise and implement the Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) strategy, plans and objectives in the factories/facilities
•Collaborate work with the factory leaders and TPM Managers to implement all major NCE processes and systems including PM Pillar and other TPM Modules (AM, FI, E&T, EM)
•Maintain competencies, motivation and dedication to achieve the M&I and teams’ mission and objectives
•Inspire continuous improvement, networking and standard methodology sharing within the M&I community
•Lead the implementation of the M&I strategy, PM Pillar, and other initiatives are fully aligned with the internal / external regulations related to Safety and Environment, Nestle Quality Management System (NQMS) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), Nestle Good Hygienic Engineering (NGHE), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Engineering Factory Compliance Audit Tool (EFCA), and audit requirements
•Supervise Key Performance Indicators, annual objectives/targets, and develop and drive corrective action plans and gap closure for factories that are not meeting critical metrics and other performance measures
•Deploy training and communicate Maintenance Foundations / TPM strategies to factory personnel and others as needed
•Participate in local audits and ensure action plans are in place. You will investigate any issues relating to non-compliance, major breakdowns and non-conformance
•Work closely with the Divisional Chief Engineer, Market Pillar Leaders, and Factory Personnel to implement methodologies including the Planned Maintenance (PM) Pillar strategy.
•Evaluate current progress on PM Pillar, driving the implementation of Best Practices related to systems, processes methods, organization, staffing, and employee skill levels.
•Collaborate on the implementation of the EM Pillar as the model for conducting project management in the facilities
•Drive methodologies and process across the market such as Predictive Maintenance technologies
•Travel 50-80% of the time to support the locations within your region
Requirements and minimum education level:
•Bachelors Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical / chemical / process / electrical engineering.
•Minimum 5-7 years experience in a technical field, preferably with food manufacturing or consumer goods industry, of which several years were as leader of the Maintenance function or Factory Engineer in a plant
•Knowledge of TPM / Maintenance Excellence programs including Asset Management, Breakdown Analysis, FMEA, and Reliability Centered Maintenance
•Experience leading a Maintenance Improvement Team in a factory environment
•Direct Leadership experience in previous assignment
General and professional skills:
In-depth knowledge of TPM / PM Pillar Tools including:
•Asset Management Software (SAP Preferred)
•Planning and scheduling
•Predictive Maintenance Technologies including (infrared, ultrasonic, vibration analysis, etc.)
•Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements for food safety and hygienic engineering
