Deliver effective cross functional leadership and project management of Frozen & Chilled top priority projects as part of the CTCU. Effectively manage stakeholders with appropriate communication and escalation. Drive continuous improvement in Engineering subject area and manufacturing solutions.
•Lead a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team (R&D, SBU, Zone, Markets) to achieve the project defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the business case with a focus on Top Priority Frozen & Chilled category projects
•Deliver project execution in terms of the technical concept, scope, budget schedule, design, industrialization and cost by adapting and applying Engineering Early Management Pillar tools.
•As CTCU End to End Project Manager, manage resources, both personnel (e.g. other project engineers, technicians, contractors etc.) and funding, to ensure the project fulfills and meets the set objectives defined within the approved scope. Identify and Influence manufacturing solutions.
•Proactive Stakeholder Management including Escalation when appropriate
•Drive continuous improvement, networking and sharing information within CTCU such that it becomes a key pillar of the engineering culture. (e.g. building competence in the team to enable a broad understanding of manufacturing landscape.)
•Provide manufacturing technical advice on new technologies and opportunities, as well as specialized equipment evaluation and unique engineering challenges within Frozen & Chilled categories
•Proactively drives external technology scouting to give input to product and process development
JOB QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Knowledge):
•Engineering degree, Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Food or Agricultural
•A minimum of 7-10 years of related engineering experience in the food industry. A substantial portion of the food industry experience must have been with processing unit operation specification and/or factory implementation.
•Excellent Team leadership skills
•Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills
•Excellent organizational skills
•Ability to travel up to 40% worldwide
•Good knowledge of practical engineering principles.
