The Finance Strategy Analyst plays a meaningful role in meeting these needs by:
Strategic Business Case Development
Participate in the evaluation of leading-edge technologies in warehouse automation, RPA (robotic process automation), AI, Machine Learning, Simulation, etc.
Leads ROIC/DPBP/NPV./MIRR analysis
Deliver recommendations to leadership on projects that will improve return on investment and profitability
Lead Supply Chain Savings Tracking Program (SAVE)
Engage with Strategy, Transportation, Warehousing, Customer Facing, and Planning to develop a pipeline of projects that can deliver savings in both the current business year as well as the strategic 5-year timeline.
Owner of the SAVE tracking process. Train partners and hold teams accountable to their tracking commitments.
Clearly communicate project achievements and projections to SC finance counterparts as inputs into the financial forecasting process.
Participation in network optimization modeling
Validation of inputs and outputs for key financial assumptions
VDE – Payload / Line Haul / Fuel / Redeployment
FDE – Storage / Handling / Picking / Overflow
Participate in ideation of supply chain scenarios
The role is expected to assist the supply chain team by providing thought leadership, questioning the status quo, and proactively challenging teams to accelerate their initiatives from idea to execution. The candidate must have strong communication skills, cross functional team experience and be results focused with minimal direct supervision. The individual must be able to effectively interact, collaborate and communicate across multiple functions in the organization and collaborate and build consensus to get results. The position will plan, prioritize and manage workload in an environment of competing priorities to support and guide timely and sound decision making.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- MBA preferred
- 3-5 years financial analysis and/or supply chain experience
- Expert Excel skills
- Power BI and Access skills is preferred
- Proven track record working in cross-functional teams
- Costing and accounting knowledge
- Experienced in communication with peers and senior management
- Analysis, forecasting, budgeting experience
- Strong project management skills
- SAP or other ERP experience a plus
