This position is responsible for supporting the planning and coordination of project activities across Nestlé in North America (NiNA), specifically in pre- and post-merger and acquisition (M&A) activities and business transformation activities that drive optimization. This position will support projects across functions and businesses at Nestlé. An ideal candidate should be experienced at managing project deliverables with the ability to execute a vision while managing the details.
•Develop and coordinate project plans; identify project goals, staffing, scheduling, communication strategies, potential risks and mitigating plans and allocation of available resources
•Partner with Procurement to build and execute requests for proposal (RFPs); support vendor selection decision making process
•Support program & project reporting and documentation processes; deliver status reports and analysis for management on a regular basis; track and resolve issues, escalating to management as necessary
•Coordinate with team members to ensure project scope and schedule are adhered to; ensure proposed changes are aligned with objectives and are conducted in accordance with agreed upon project change processes
•Create and maintain good relationships with customers to ensure project/program management processes are coordinated between internal teams, IT, Nestlé Operating Company partners (HR, Finance, Legal) and external representatives
Requirements and minimum education level
•Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; an MBA is preferred
•Project Management certification is desired
•3+ years of experience participating in sophisticated business transformation initiatives and/or function or technical projects in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to travel as needed
•Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; able to adapt nimbly and lead others through sophisticated situations.
•A creative & resilient problem solver
•Excellent project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation, involving internal personnel, contractors, and vendors.
•Strong organizational and time-management skills
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to express sophisticated technical concepts in business terms
•Flexible and adaptable to the demands and requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; ability to work on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
•Strong analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret functional and technical requirements
•Ability to set clear expectations and hold cross functional teams accountable to all deliverables.
