PRIMARY LOCATION OPTIONS:
Remote West Coast and Central United States near National Airport
This role will be responsible for achieving high volume targeted sales of Nestlé Professional by promoting products’ features and benefits to new and existing National Account chain customers in the assigned channel. National Account Managers need to understand and execute each of their account specific plans in order to meet / exceed established revenue and profit goals. A National Account Manager in this division partners with major quick serve and fast casual customer accounts.
This role works closely with Marketing, Innovation/R&D, Quality Assurance, Operations, and with Territory Sales Managers, District Sales Managers, and Regional Sales Managers to achieve program implementation and compliance in the field. Responsible for the rollout and implementation of select new National Account programs and responsible for their long term growth, success, and profitability.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
•Takes ownership of assigned National Accounts, responsible to increase account penetration/program compliance rate
•Follow up on assigned or National/Multi-Unit account business within the channel
•Create and maintain wide level of relationships within the assigned accounts
•Strategically identify and target key potential customers/accounts within assigned geography
•Work closely with established key target accounts to understand and execute the account specific plan
•Must coordinate / resource deployment and priorities in order to meet / exceed established revenue and profit goals
•Track field performance and rollout success by recording sales activity on a regular basis, and reporting this information to sales leadership and the customer
•Actively look for ways to improve rollout procedures and to streamline the exchange of information within the sales organization
•Organize meetings and deliver content to customers at the unit, region, and national level
•Participate as needed in national and regional trade shows
•Attend and participate in customer business reviews
•Evaluate account profitability, and present pricing actions to customers in a timely fashion
•Identify opportunities for expansion on specific platforms within selected accounts, increasing penetration in high profit opportunities
•Must be willing to travel to designated accounts and to company meetings as needed
•Maintain complete knowledge of NP offerings
Reports directly to the Head of National Accounts.
•College Degree required
•10 years successful foodservice sales or foodservice sales management experience required.
•Prior experience calling on national quick serve restaurants and fast casual accounts required.
•Food Service experience required, a combination of both beverage and culinary food service experience preferred
•Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time
