2016 USC Marshall "Food Industry Executive of the Year"
The Food Management Program at the USC Marshall School of Business named Nestlé USA the 2016 Food Industry Executive of the Year. While this award has historically been presented to food industry retailers, this year we became the first food industry manufacturer to receive the award for our long-term view on developing future leaders, focusing on critical issues in the food industry, and creating shared value that benefits our organization, our employees, and society.
Vince Robinson, President of the Nestlé Sales Division, received the award on behalf of Nestlé USA. "Education and industry partnerships are vital in the development of individuals, companies and our broader industry," he said. "The food industry is a great example where many leaders have progressed from entry level positions to executive leadership roles. Nestlé USA is fully committed to supporting the Western Association of Food Chains (WAFC) and the Food Industry Management (FIM) program at USC as a catalyst for personal and overall food industry development."
2016 Universum “World’s Top Employers for New Grads”
Not only is Nestlé named one of the World’s Most Attractive Employers by Universum, but it’s also included on the list twice by appealing to both business (ranked #25) and engineering (#23) recent grads. Universum’s rankings are the result of a survey based on student preferences with a focus on four main areas: Employer Reputation and Image; Job Characteristics; People and Culture; and Remuneration and Advancement Opportunities.
2016 MIT Technology Review “50 Smartest Companies”
Nestlé was recently named one of the 50 Smartest Companies of 2016 by MIT’s Technology Review. Nestlé was honored with this award due to its involvement in microbiome research to create nutritional as well as delicious food options for our communities. Nestlé has also invested over $100 million to develop medicines aimed at the bacteriological balance in the digestive tract. 2016 Fortune "World's Most Admired Companies"
For the 20th consecutive year, we are proud to be named one of Fortune Magazine's "World's Most Admired Companies." In addition to being an overall leader in the consumer food products industry, Nestlé was ranked #1 in innovation, people management, financial soundness, and global competitiveness.
2016 Symplicity's "Top 25 Best Places to Work for Recent Grads"
Each year, Symplicity recognizes companies that create environments in which recent college graduates can excel. Nestlé USA was selected as one of the “Top 25 Best Places to Work for Recent Grads" due to our commitment to support growth and development. They specifically identified our rotational programs, training, and amazing mentors as qualities that put us among the top employers for new grads.
2015 LinkedIn "Most InDemand Employers"
In 2014 & 2015, Nestlé was named one of the “Most InDemand Employers” on LinkedIn. The InDemand list represents the most sought-after employers in North America based on billions of interactions from LinkedIn's 380M+ members. InDemand measures the actual behavior of professionals as they explore their career journey, including interactions with employers’ company pages, employee profiles and job postings on LinkedIn. 2015 STEM Jobs Approved Employer
Nestlé USA has been acknowledged for our commitment to hiring STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) talent. This designation is given based on how effectively companies produce high-demand, high-paying STEM jobs, and how well they connect with educators to help students pursue and achieve career aspirations in STEM fields.
2015 Symplicity "Best Places to Work for Recent Grads"
Nestlé USA was selected as one of 25 organizations for Symplicity’s “Best Places to Work for Recent Grads” list in 2015. Honorees were assessed based on company culture, wages and benefits, and career development opportunities. Additionally, each employer filled out a survey regarding the assessment criteria, and Symplicity evaluated each company’s Glassdoor rating in order to gain employee insight.
2015 Universum World’s "Most Attractive Employers"
Universum (a global employer branding company) assessed the world’s most attractive employers for university students, and Nestlé USA improved its ranking for business students to place at No. 27 for Engineering/IT students, up from 23. Universum determines the “World’s Most Attractive Employers” based on student surveys administered n the world’s 12 largest economies. More than 240,000 IT/engineering students rated the eligible employers they perceived to be most attractive to work for based on the key factors they consider when making career decisions. 2015 Fortune World’s "Most Admired Companies"
Nestlé was awarded the #1 position on Fortune Magazine’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list for the consumer food products division once again this year. This is the 18th year we have been selected on this list, and the 10th straight year we have been honored with the #1 ranking in our industry.
Fortune assessed companies based on questionnaires it distributed to executives, directors and analysts. The surveys included questions regarding products offered, employee talent, innovativeness and financial status.
Diversity Business: "2015 Top 50 U.S. Organizations Providing Multicultural Business Opportunities"
Nestlé was selected from among 1.3 million businesses for a spot in the Top 50 as an organization committed to diversity and multicultural business opportunities. Companies were selected based on volume, consistency and quality of business initiatives a company grants to multicultural suppliers by DiversityBusiness.com.
